Sanitarium Management have put out an internal Memo (attached to our payslips today) advising us that there are effectively no problems with cockroach infestation at the Cooranbong Site.We all know that is rubbish and we also know there is a significant health issue here regarding cockroaches in the plant. It is a health issue that affects all us employees and an issue that has the serious potential to affect the Australian public that consume Sanitarium Health Foods.
We do not want pest controllers spraying during working hours and we want it cleaned up to the hygienic standards the public would expect of a food company let alone a 'health' food company.
We call on Sanitarium to come 'clean' with the Australian public and we demand the plant be cleaned and sanitised safely whilst no production is in operation and no worker is subjected to these disgusting standards any longer. Why should we have to work under these conditions!

they put a memo letter out with our pay slips stating there was no infestation in the plant at Cooranbong.the same day at the day shift team meeting lew newman brought with him all the CUSTUMER complaints for cochroachs in the products the custumers had purchased from their local super market that was only three months old,how many are we going to get for the next three months coming back.WILL MANAGEMENT TRY TO HIDE THESE FIGURES FROM US AS WELL AS THE FOOD AUTHORITY.
well it's the 6/5/08 and guess what? they had to shut line 4 down again today because of the cockroach problem. yummo it's great to see a company care for it's consumers buy adding extra protein to it's fruity bix.
if i was a cochroach living in sano i be happy as a piggy in mud,there is so much to eat and sooo many places to hide. LYLE DRURY and his cans of surface spray[RED AND WHITE ones this time] wouldnt worry me because every time he finds me i just take off across the floor and hide under something else.MOTORS I LOVE MOTORS ther so warm!!!! ha haaa.
13/05/08 well did anyone see this day tonight on channel 7 about the hundred best healthy eating products to buy. didn't see weet bix mentioned anywhere on the tv show. maybe they also know how big the cockroach infestation is at cooranbong.
if i was a kiddy a grown up today id be happy with a bit of extra natural protien in over processed food.the problem is when you cook the crap out of grain you turn it into a toxic bit of food,in turn it attacks your body organs and causes internal malfunctions later in life.
well those imaginary crawly things that management cant see are back.and if management cant find anything to do with them we have.COCHROACH RACERS...yes you heard it....lets have fun,haha!!
